FAQ
What is Matcha
Matcha is a special kind of powdered green tea, traditionally used in the Japanese tea ceremony. Matcha is unique among other types of green tea in both appearance and taste. It has a vibrant, beautiful green colour, a subtle aroma, and a rich umami taste.
How much caffeine does matcha have in it?
Depending on grade of matcha, one bowl of matcha contains 80-120 mg of caffeine.
How it is prepared, hot or cold?
You can drink matcha as you like, both cold and hot. The benefits of drinking matcha. If you want to drink it cold, we recommend you dissolve the matcha with water or hot milk and then pour it into a glass of ice. You can also use it as an ingredient to prepare delicious matcha recipes.
What benefit does it have comparing to coffee?
One of the great differences between matcha and coffee is the large amount of antioxidants contained in each serving of matcha (1 g). Specifically, each dose of matcha contains 1384 ORACs (method to measure oxygen radical absorption capacity), 53 times more than spinach.
One serving of matcha (1 g) contains approximately 35 mg of caffeine, the same as an espresso coffee. When you drink coffee, you are likely to notice the high energy generated by caffeine and, after about 2 hours, a sudden downturn, also called caffeine crash. Matcha, in addition to containing caffeine, contains L-Theanine, an amino acid that causes an extended release of caffeine, creating a state of calm-alertness without jitters or energy high and lows.

Absolutely love to start my day with a Tenshi Matcha, I’ve tried other makes but come back to Tenshi for taste and quality. The taster pack gives me the opportunity to have all flavours but my all time favourite is the Vanilla 👌
Oh my goodness!! Totally cynical in the first place,so thought I would just try the sample box. Arrived quickly, along with the " frother". Super this weather with ice cubes and a good whisk.Just like milkshake. My favourites are chocolate and caramel. What will yours be???
Lovely and refreshing ✨️
I used all samples on holiday then ordered the mango variety when I came home and am 2 weeks in I can definitely say I feel better and not as a achy
My first attempt with matcha so I went for the variety sample box so I could try lots of different flavours before committing. The flavours are delicious, particularly liked the caramel and cinnamon flavours. Tried making with water and milk and both equally as good. Unfortunately drinking the matcha gave me a headache so I haven’t had any for a few days. Today I made one only adding half of a serving sachet and this has helped massively. Just hope I am still getting the benefits.
Great selection, I didn't like the cinnamon or ginger ones buy the rest were delicious. Strawberry was my favourite
They tasted really nice. I liked all flavours but not sure I would keep it up
Lovely idea! Loving all the different flavours but definitely finding my favourites x
nice flavors, helped with digestive system, overall good
fantastic communication tension! They let me know who was delivering when and between such times. Very impressed. I've never had a matcha drink in my life but giving these a try too soon to give 5 stars tho.
The sample pack without a subscription was a fantastic way to try matcha and pick the flavours I like. Mango is my favourite! 🥰
Fantastic offer Great you get to choose what flavour each day Highly recommend
Great to be able to try all the flavours before i buy the full size. Only one problem is I dont know which one I like the best!
Taste good Very surprised
Loving the different flavours
Really enjoying the samples, my favourite is the blueberry.
Was great 👍
Delicious 😋
Only trued two, blueberry and mango. Really like the flavours but after both I've been unable to sleep, even though I had them before midday. Unfortunately, I think that Matcha is not for me.
Really like them! Notice difference in my energy. Will continue with Tenshi….
Still trying alm tge flavours but so far loving each one stuck for choice
I have never drank tea dont like the smell. My favourites were the fruity ones especially the blueberry and mango. So will definitely be ordering these again.
Brilliant easy to use, just wish you could advise exactly how many portions are in the bigger tubs
Wasn't sure of matcha but decided to try these as a starter pack. I am now hooked. They make me feel more alert and they taste amazing. Definitely ordering more and the starter packs are well worth the money.
Lovely taste
I know that it's a sample pack but the sachets are disappointingly small and there was NO presentation. I've had to buy a little clear pouch to put them in for the person I bought them for. postage was very slow
Not really my taste, literally.
Takes some getting used too.
Great samples loved all the flavours
Great product

Quick deliver. Great flavour. Will definitely order some more. A great Change from my coffee A+++++
Unfortunately there was only 1 sample that I liked. The Caramel one ?
I enjoyed the flavours, it makes Matcha very palatable. However I just found it way too sweet, just a personal thing
